  Making someone pay $50 because they HAVE to bring in their own food for ONE child because that child has celiac disease is insane!!! Either other gluten free food or waive that fee!

  ******SHAME ON YOU SLICK CITY****** My 8-year-old daughter, diagnosed with celiac disease and type 1 diabetes at 18 months, was invited to a friend’s birthday party at Slick City in Plano, TX. Prior to the party, I learned that Slick City doesn’t offer gluten-free food options, a dietary requirement for those living with Celiac Disease. When we arrived for the party, I asked the front desk if I could bring my daughter a gluten-free meal. They informed me of their policy prohibiting outside food and there is a $50 fee for any food brought in. I explained my daughter’s dietary needs and the importance of food during the party to prevent low blood sugar. They reiterated their policy and refused to waive the fee and instead offered her the option of eating outside. I insisted that my daughter’s medical needs were not being accommodated and I refused to make her feel even more different by forcing her to eat outside and not with the party. I spoke to the manager and he restated their policy again and that she could eat outside if I didn't want to pay the fee. I felt I had no other choice but to bring her a gluten-free meal and pay the fee. I was appalled by the staff's lack of remorse and consideration of my daughter's medical needs. When I wrote an email to their corporate headquarters, the response I received was that they are sorry for the inconvenience and will review their policy. They made no follow-up phone call or offer of a refund. We will never go to Slick City again and will be contacting our lawyers regarding their blatant disregard of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  My first time here and I took my 9 yr old son and he loved it.I highly recommend. I like how they have it in a time schedule so it won’t be overwhelming & packed . Will be back for spring break .

  *****Poor Experience***** We had a very poor experience hosting a birthday party at Slick City Plano. Our party was scheduled for 5:30 PM, but it took almost 30 minutes just to get guests inside, with no staff helping or guiding us. Once inside, it was difficult to find our party host, and we constantly had to wait or search for staff for basic things like utensils, announcements, and cake cutting. While booking, we were clearly told we would get two tables, but at the time of the party we were told only one table was available. After multiple requests, we finally got two tables, but everything felt like a hassle. On top of that, billing was incorrect — we had 4–5 junior entries but were charged at the regular rate with no proper age-based breakdown. Overall, the experience was unorganized, stressful, and disappointing. I would not recommend Slick City Plano for birthday parties.

  It’s was good experience we had birthday party for our son was blast the service was good, very manner the service lady only she is very busy and it was busy Saturday cause of the 2026 storm last Saturday got moved the date and time gladly we managed to get chance to reschedule. We ordered our packages at Slick City Plano TX
