This place is really unique and the kids loved it. We got there when it appears as though they oversold the place as there were no mats (so you couldn't slide). The staff was trying to get people who were out of time to leave, but it was a bit of a mess for a while. THAT SAID, DeAnthony, the manager, did not hesitate to extend our time because of the time we lost waiting for a mat. He was VERY helpful and friendly! I think they may need to get some more mats, however we left happy and will for sure return! The basketball and dodge ball areas are a great addition to the sliding!

This was our first time visiting a slick city location. It was for our daughters' birthday party. The greeter at the counter was very nice and helpful checking us in. However, we were disappointed to learn this particular location did not have laser tag or mini motor cars or a few of the slides. We didn't realize it was different from location to location. When we asked we got a weird look from the other girl at the other counter. There was also confusion on the pizza and drinks we had in our family package. The front counter at check in told us we would be called when it's time but we weren't. When we inquired, it wasn't ready so we lost time waiting on the food that the kids could be playing, not knowing how long it would take. We also had to ask several times for the drink pitchers and cups and plates. Other than a few hiccups, we had a really good time and fun place for the kids. Since the "arcade" is SMALL and no laser tag or mini cars there isn't much to do for kids that are scared of the slides. I'm glad I didn't buy a party package because the cost would've outweighed the benefit!

Came here with my daughter with special needs and was told there was no way to accommodate her riding down either with me as her parent or laying down on her back. The only option was to lay on her stomach face first. This was after we were allowed to ride down together by one of the staff at the top. They said we could come back on a sensory day when there was less people but would still have to go down face first by herself, which would be no difference than today. They said they could not do anything about it and she would unable to use any of the slides, so they offered to give us 3 free passes to come back on a different day, but did not offer to reimburse us for the day we paid for, even though she was not allowed to use anything in the facility. Not a special needs friendly place and would not recommend it to anyone. Will never come back.

Karen and her team member were so kind to my niece. She was terrified to get on the slides. They walked by when i was trying to get her to go and she was crying. They stopped what they were doing, got on her level and spoke to her for several minutes - they asked what she had done, what she liked about it and literally had an entire comversation with her personally. They eventually got her to go up to the slide - Karen walked up with her and the other team member waited below and made sure we had a good camera angle to take pictures. Karen had to talk her into going once she got up there but she did it! She went down and literally didn't stop after that. They even came back to check on her. They wanted, to quote, to make sure everyone was getting their money's worth and they would do whatever they could to ensure that would happen. My niece says "Thank you!!!" Best experience ever.

******SHAME ON YOU SLICK CITY****** My 8-year-old daughter, diagnosed with celiac disease and type 1 diabetes at 18 months, was invited to a friend’s birthday party at Slick City in Plano, TX. Prior to the party, I learned that Slick City doesn’t offer gluten-free food options, a dietary requirement for those living with Celiac Disease. When we arrived for the party, I asked the front desk if I could bring my daughter a gluten-free meal. They informed me of their policy prohibiting outside food and there is a $50 fee for any food brought in. I explained my daughter’s dietary needs and the importance of food during the party to prevent low blood sugar. They reiterated their policy and refused to waive the fee and instead offered her the option of eating outside. I insisted that my daughter’s medical needs were not being accommodated and I refused to make her feel even more different by forcing her to eat outside and not with the party. I spoke to the manager and he restated their policy again and that she could eat outside if I didn't want to pay the fee. I felt I had no other choice but to bring her a gluten-free meal and pay the fee. I was appalled by the staff's lack of remorse and consideration of my daughter's medical needs. When I wrote an email to their corporate headquarters, the response I received was that they are sorry for the inconvenience and will review their policy. They made no follow-up phone call or offer of a refund. We will never go to Slick City again and will be contacting our lawyers regarding their blatant disregard of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
