I wish this was my home theater. It’s always been one of the best theaters in the Plano/Frisco area.
It’s a little ironic that a “grown” woman here is talking about a “young” manager needing better training , yet for as old as she appears… you’d think she would know better (basic etiquette, following rules, etc.,)
How she wrote the review (trying to blame others, randomly bringing up how much she pays, etc) screams entitlement.
I am sure there was no scene until she made one…just as she is here in the reviews.
I’ve always had great experiences at this theatre and with staff.

Not sure about the review where the woman complains she got talked to because she admittedly kept checking her business phone during a movie (and trying to deflect to “50” other people also being on their phone ) and seemingly having a tantrum about it…but I’ve always had a great experience at this theatre. Chris gave me a completely different, and better experience, and based on how she wrote the review.. it seems to be coming from a place of entitlement. I’m sure SHE caused the scene, not Chris. 😅
Employees are friendly , it’s clean, the bathrooms are also clean, sound from neighboring films don’t bleed through (good soundproofing in each room), etc.
Tonight was the first night where I had some concerns about a Dbox seat with an older movie that was returning for a limited time (it just clearly wasn’t programmed to be compatible with the Dbox seats) and David and Chris were friendly, quick to help, and there was no questions asked. They made the situation right and I appreciate them. :)
(whereas I’ve gone to the b&b theatre in Wylie where my 4D seat didn’t work at all, questioned me repeatedly, and they told me basically I was out of luck with any type of partial credit for not being able to have the full 4D experience… btw, if you ever consider the b&b theatre in Wylie, they have one 4D room and seats only work 50% of the time. Terrible customer service also).
Note: this is a one off experience, I always get dbox seats and they’ve always worked. :) This specific film is just over a decade old and wasn’t programmed to work well with the dbox seats.
The customer service I’ve experienced was wonderful , and I appreciate them helping me and my friends tonight.
Great job on management during my experience last night. Ive been a frequent movie goer since I was little. I cannot stand those who are entitled enough to believe they should be allowed on their phones during the movie. Common sense is to turn your phone off and not get on it during the movie. Thank you to management for correcting entitled behavior, I will frequent this location more now. PSA: DONT GO ON YOUR PHONE DURING THE MOVIE IT IS RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE TO OTHERS IN THAT THEATER
I have been going to this theater for years and I am a platinum member of Cinemark due to the years I've spent countless amounts of money at this location. My boys and I go every week almost as our date nights on Tuesdays but last night will be the last time I set foot in this location due to the way that I was treated. One of their Associates, Chris Jordan or whatever his name is approached me in the middle of the movie asking me, no let me correct that, rudely and disrespectfully told me to put my phone away. He walked directly to me which leads me to believe that someone took it upon themselves to go tell on me but I was doing nothing wrong because my business phone lit up a couple of times and I looked at it and flipped it back over just like the 50 other people in the theater. It is not the fact about putting my phone away but it is the way that he walked up to me directly and was talking to me as if I was a dog and I don't even believe people talk to dogs that way. If he had approached me in a more respectful way, there would have been no issue but instead he acted very unprofessionally and called the cops on me because I told him I wasn't going anywhere until he gave me my money back and he talks to me with some respect. He caused all kind of Chaos in the movie theater by his actions, yet I was the one asked to leave. Management needs to have a training with their Associates on how to talk to people and treat people, especially those of us that patronize the business the way that I have. These young people have absolutely no business acumen nor professionalism and it's getting out of hand. I did not have a problem with putting away my phone but I had a problem with the way I was disrespected.
