Our party was scheduled to begin at 6:15. We arrived at 5:30 and checked in at 5:50, yet no tables were prepared, no party host was assigned, and staff had no explanation for the disorganization. Assuming they overbooked. As a result, we were left waiting with no communication while they claimed they would set up a table, which never happened. Instead, we were placed in a different section that was not part of our package, clearly just to move us out of the way of other parties.
We did not receive our game cards until 7:30, and only after I insisted on speaking with the general manager, who’s name is Chris. Prior to requesting that I speak with Chris, the shift manager, who’s name I do NOT recall kept giving me the runaround about the cards, telling me that I couldn’t get the cards until I pay for the party!! So around 9/9:30 after my child’s party played and did our happy birthday, Chris came over to inquire about payment as if I was going to skip payment. After payment was received, the workers gave Chris a thumbs up.
This was our first visit, and at no point did anyone explain how their party process works. The service was unacceptable, unprofessional, and far below what we were promised and paid for. Drake, who was the working giving the thumbs up to Chris, was very unprofessional and the shift manager was unhelpful and very unaccommodating. If you are someone who values your time, your money, and exceptional customer service for your child’s bday celebration Malibu Jacks is a HARD PASS !
Thank you for the worst experience EVER

I came here to spend some quality time with my daughter. The main issue I had were the people in the kitchen. It was a Saturday the lady was very rude, smirking and laughing at me and my child. Also the pizza had air bubbles all through it, for the price I paid it should have been top notch. I don't want to come back here. All because of the rudeness I endured from the kitchen staff.

To those planning birthday parties here, this is what they do:
As soon as you go in, get seated in the birthday area, eat and finish up, then pay your whole bill, get cards for your kids play time, you are on your own after that. There is an extra $47.98 service fee for all parties, something they don't tell you early during booking, this is not host's gratuity. So be ready to pay extra gratuity if you wish.
Take a bunch of water bottles for kids because kids will get thirsty in the middle of playing unless you want to go to the food court to get water or expensive Icee or expensive soda. Basically, after your time at the birthday area, they won't help you in that area at all even if you want just a cup of water for your child. There is no charge for water at the food court. The employees there were nice too.
Our experience:
We got there for a weekend 11 am party. They opened at 11 am. Our assigned host didnt show up to work. There was confusion with seating us. There was a lot of attitude and no smile on the face of the lady seating us as she was frustrated the host didn't show up to work. We got our drinks- pitcher of Lemonade and fruit punch from her. After about 40 mins, a different hostess came to help us. I was already doing everything by myself for the kids by then. Asked for a refill of fruit punch. Hostess was sweet. She went to two different soda machines, couldn't get any more fruit punch. She said they ran out.
During payout, there was no monitor or any screen to see charges. The cashier told us an amount and I paid it. When I got the receipt, there were additional charges. The amount they tell you is before any extra charges, and extra food charges. But once you get the receipt, you see you had additional charges which would have been good to know before completing the payment transaction. Transparency is of utmost importance during final payment
One of the kids in our group lost his card within an hour of playing. We had 2 hrs of unlimited time on rides and $20 on arcade. We talked to the same lady who had initially seated us during the birthday party, she told us we could get a card with unlimited rides on it but she cannot put the arcade money on the card, even if that arcade amount was not used at all. So get a wrist band or something to hold cards for your party of kids. Kids are bound to lose it while playing.
The place itself was great. Fun rides, clean. Kids enjoyed. I would give 5 stars to the place and ride monitoring employees. I would give 2 stars to the unorganized way of hosting our birthday party in the beginning which was embarrassing because there were other parents who noticed and talked about it.

Just relocated to Texas from Florida and ran across this place while googling things to do with our kids. So glad we visited! It was a hit with our kids and we were pretty impressed ourselves. It had pretty much EVERYTHING and something for all ages. Even a soft play area for our 1 year old. Pretty cool place. My kids ages 3 and 11 said they had the best time EVER! Definitely check it out. Prices weren't to bad either for the amount of things to do.

Took my kids to Malibu Jacks last Friday and the place is definitely big with tons of attractions — great concept and kid-friendly environment. It wasn’t crowded when we went (looked like a daycare group had just left), so that was nice.
However, a couple of the attractions I bought tickets for weren’t open, including laser tag and one of the rides. The biggest frustration was the card system — every time we swiped, it would take the whole balance off instead of just deducting for the game. It happened more than once and it started to feel like I was bothering staff just trying to fix it. That definitely took away from the fun.
I didn’t try the food or bowling, so can’t rate those. Overall, it’s a nice place and has a lot of potential, but they really need to get that card glitch fixed and make sure all attractions advertised are open. Once they do, it’ll be a much better experience.
