  We hosted my son’s birthday party at Monster Mini Golf and it was not worth the $600+ we ended up paying. Right at the start, I tried to pay. The manager told me to wait until the end “to see how amazing they were” and because of tip. That was my first red flag. The $450 package included 90 minutes in the party room, mini golf, a laser chase game (very underwhelming), basic paper goods, cheap party favors, and $8 game cards for 15 kids. I paid an extra $75 to upgrade the game cards. The mini golf portion was completely chaotic. All of the kids were piled onto the same holes at the same time with no structure, no pacing, and no real direction. It felt unmanaged and disorganized. The two party hosts acted annoyed anytime I tried to help the kids with cake or gather food to take home. There were side comments and visible frustration. As the parent paying for the event, I shouldn’t feel like I’m inconveniencing teenage staff for simply helping my own child’s party run smoothly. The worst part was checkout. I offered to tip $20 per host ($40 total). The manager told me that was “low” and that people usually tip 10% and that’s what I should consider because they “worked hard.” Telling a customer what they “should” tip is unprofessional and inappropriate. Tipping is optional — it is not a mandatory percentage you pressure parents into at the register. To end the uncomfortable exchange, I tipped 15% ($79). With tax, the total came to $641.13. Three kids didn’t even show up, and there was no pricing flexibility. For that price point, I expected organization, professionalism, and a pleasant experience. Instead, it felt chaotic and I was pressured into paying more than I felt the service deserved. The place appears cool in decoration but I’d say go there independently and don’t book a party. Additionally, the games average $2 per play. We won’t be back.

  We had the best experience celebrating a 5 year olds birthday with kids ages 3-6. Paul has been fantastic since I started planning the party months ago. He was so kind and attentive and helped everyone had a blast! We played for two hours and the kids could’ve stayed another two hours.

  Celebrated my son’s birthday this afternoon. Ethan took care of us and did a great job! Appreciate having a fun local spot! Always look forward to supporting members of the Keller Chamber.
