  Didn’t have the food because the kitchen was closed. Cool spot but they shut down early, shows open till 2 and last call was around 1230. Woulda hit a different spot had we known.

  Showed up at midnight with company party. Order one round and the the “manager” came to let us know we were “ cut off” no reason. 🙄🙄🙄 whatever . But also like what.. the waiter at the place previously recieved an$100 tip just for existing . . Will NOT be attending again and advise to stay away . As insecure wait staff will push you out. Confident vibes for confident people , Called to confirm. He could not provide a reason to “ cut us off” other than my husband who is not from Galveston lit a cigarette and then promptly put it out upon notice “lit a cigarette “ 🙄🙄 absolutely WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR ATTEND .

  we stayed in the holiday inn for 2 nights and came in the bar both nights. had 2 different servers and both were frustratingly slow, unpleasant and should not be waitressing. the manager tried hard and was running around trying to make up for the lack of service from these two servers. sad. really nice place, decent food but horrible service. sorry.

  We stopped in for a drink on a Friday night, they were packed so we skipped the food. The old fashions were served in warm glasses, not the best drinks but when we asked for more ice, Karen the bartender overfilled our glasses with ice. There was a great band playing, but they were a little loud so after ordering our drinks we asked for the tab. Karen had us fill out a bar release tab, since we were putting the drinks on our room. It was basically a blank check, we asked for the bill several more times and a one point she waved the paper in my face. We went out to the lobby and asked the manager if we could get our bill, he was in a rush and said the paper was a guarantee the staff would get gratuity, he also suggested maybe we could write the bartender a note and give her cash gratuity, understanding it was a busy night, we did as he asked but no matter how many times we asked nicely for our bill we never got one. The next day at checkout we finally got our bill that seemed very high for 2 drinks but no one could find an itemized bill for us, and I was then given a stern lecture by the staff of how I had signed a release form saying I would pay the bill along with gratuity (in addition to the very generous cash tip we had already given) despite the rude service and poor drinks from Karen the night before. Please beware when going to this hotel bar that once you sign that voucher, the sky is the limit of what they can and will charge you.

  We had a blast at B Jiggers Halloween party. The place was packed and the wait staff and bar tenders made sure everyone was served. The manager, Joey greeted us and was very welcoming. Great band
