  Great atmosphere on a Friday night. The DJ plays lots of 90s and 2000s. Don't try to look at the books in the back room...they don't like that. 😆Drinks were mid.

  Really disappointing experience at the door. I was denied entry because the bouncer said my jeans were “distressed,” even though there were no holes or exposed skin, just part of the design. After speaking with a manager, I was told I could come in, but the bouncer still refused because he said he had “already denied” me. What made it even more confusing was that once inside, the only other people there were wearing athleisure and much more casual clothing. The situation became even more uncomfortable when other patrons approached me to talk and the manager told me not to speak with them, even though they had initiated the conversation. Dress codes are understandable, but inconsistent enforcement and the way this situation was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and honestly humiliating.

  I’ve been to this spot a few times over the past couple of years, and overall it’s always been a solid experience. This visit was on a slower night, so it was nice and relaxed when we arrived. One thing I did notice is that they’ve changed up the seating since my last visit, and it wasn’t quite as comfortable as before. The table arrangement made it a little harder to fully settle in, which ultimately kept us from staying as long as we normally would. That said, everything else was great. We always order the fries, and they did not disappoint—the fries and sauce were both really good. The drinks were also well-made, and our bartender was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a pretty standard speakeasy experience with good food, good drinks, and good service. The only downside was the seating, but we’ll definitely be back—just hoping for a more comfortable setup next time.
