Don't feel safe in believing you've got a pre paid ticket so you'll be fine. Back in January we were turned away at 7:00 because they said they'd decided to close the park early because of bad weather when the weather was 100% fine and not even windy that day. It seemed clear they'd made the mistake and over sold tickets but what was strange was that one person in our party had made it up about 25 min before us and he sent us photos showing it wasn't crowded at all. Absolute garbage business practice and rude employees.

Place is pretty cool the kids loved it. My only concern was the cart lift that takes u up the mountain, the lift seats don’t even have latches or even straps to secure u in. Place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Other than that it’s cool lol

My family and I visited Anakeesta during our trip to Gatlinburg and overall had a really nice experience. The views of the Smoky Mountains are absolutely beautiful, and the park itself is well laid out. The kids especially loved the BirdVenture area, and the Treetop Skywalk was stunning and very peaceful to walk through.
Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by two separate interactions with two different staff members who were unkind and came across as clearly unhappy in their roles. It made us feel uncomfortable and was disappointing given how family-friendly the park is otherwise. Also, if you’re given a wristband upon entry for reentry, be aware that you still need your actual ticket, this was not explained to us at all, and we were only lucky because we still had our tickets.
Overall, Anakeesta is a great park with amazing views and fun attractions, especially for kids, but the rude employee interactions definitely put a damper on what could have been a perfect visit.
