Amusement ParkLaser Tag Center
WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 50,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory carrying it to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach where it landed upside down. Luckily all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore.

This place offers a wide variety but they should adjust operationally, maybe timed entry to just limit how many people come in at once. There was so many people and felt like no AC. Just hundreds of people stuffed in a box. My son was overwhelmed and staff refused to let my husband outside to calm him because there is a no re-entry rule. There should be exceptions for that, we explained our son has sensory processing disorder and they were not accommodating. Would not recommend for easily overwhelmed children. They make it look family friendly but maybe more for older kids who can actually enjoy the things it had to offer. Even our 10 year old was DONE and didn’t want to continue because the crowd and heat.

Avoid at all cost when busy! We wasted $100 and 3.5 hours of our time going here on a busy day. They require that you pay for a full price ticket for each person even if they don't want to participate in anything. They don't regulate the amount of people that are funneling in. They only care about taking your money. My son really wanted to go today so we went and it was a total disaster. He couldn't do anything because it was too crowded and the lines were too long. He left in tears! Money wasted, time wasted and a very unhappy little boy. A few suggestions for them. 1. Don't charge for people who will not participate. 2. Regulate the crowds and lines. 3. Allow people to leave and return when it's less busy. All of these three would mean less money for them so let's see what matters most to them.

Was very surprised - a full day for my 6 y.o. and my 10 y.o. both of whom have very different likes and preferences when it comes to this. Starts out in a crowded space but once you learn your way around it helps (hint: laser tag is on the second floor). Overall friendly staff with a special shout-out to Soup at laser tag who was amazing. Indoor ropes course entertained my youngest and had clear easy, middle, and hard pathways - but he could do all but one small part. Could see it being too crowded during the summer but an April Friday was great! Lots of other hands on items for the slightly less adventurous.

We were visiting Myrtle Beach from Ohio and decided to give this place a go. I don’t know if we chose the wrong day and time to go but it was a major disappointment for our family. I didn’t see any of the attractions from their website aside from the rides. The only thing that my 7 year old enjoyed was the trippy tunnel in the beginning. After that, there was nothing else for him to do. There were too many people inside and nothing was visible for us to try. Just walls of people standing around. There appeared to be a school field trip going on at the same time so that explained the amount of people. But it was a waste of our money for sure. We only stayed about 15 minutes. And that time was spent trying to find things to do then looking for an exit. I won’t say I wouldn’t recommend this place but we won’t be going back

Leaving 3 stars because I feel there needs to be better communication at the entrance upon paying...We were asked about our shoes and told that crocks are acceptable shoes to enter. So we paid for 5 people, plus tax which came to $187.06..we enter the first floor and immediately are denied access to one of the rides because my daughter was wearing crocks!! We were literally just told 5 minutes prior that crocks were an acceptable shoe! Okay....so we go to the next exhibit which is another ride..we're then told my daughter's hair needs to be in a bun! We had NO hair ties!! Then a girl goes through right behind us with a braid..the two girls running both those rides were also very rude which made that whole experience even more frustrating. Sooo...irritated at this point...we proceed to the next floor...we didn't end up having any issues the rest of the day and then ironically when we went back down to level 1 hours later my daughter was able to go on the ride that originally required her to have a bun in her hair?? Overall I'd say this attraction was just okay..it was expensive...as we're learning everything is...spring break prices i guess 🤷♀️ please communicate better with your staff about shoes and hair. As it seems everyone just made up their own rules.
