WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 50,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory carrying it to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach where it landed upside down. Luckily all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore.
The venue is highly praised for being enjoyable for families, with numerous activities suitable for all ages.

Wonderworks is a family fun place with lots to do for all ages of the family. BUT REMEMBER YOUR CLOSE TOED SHOES!!! They do serve food, a gift shop with a lot of fun items on top of all the fun things to do. Wonderworks makes learning fun. There were some lines for things but not too long a waif, but It was off season so plan accordingly. There is also an arcade you can play, but does require additional payment. The staff was helpful, and running all over the place to make sure guests had no problem getting things done

My brother and I are season pass holders of WonderWorks. The facility is so much fun and so educational as well. As a nanny I have brought the children I watch here many times and they always have a great time and so do I. The whole building is truly full of wonders, not the least of which is the wonderful staff. Today I came in and unfortunately I had my wallet stolen recently and I had lost my season pass and Katherine at the front desk was so understanding, kind, and helpful in getting it replaced. And then later on my brother and I decided to enjoy a round of laser tag and the staff member operating the game, Soup, was just phenomenal. We have played laser tag there before but no one has ever made it as fun as Soup. His personality made an already fun day extra fun. You can really see how much he enjoys his job and it is infectious. He was also incredibly good at giving out all the instructions and while there were no kids in the game today as a professional childcare provider for many years now I can confidently say had they been there they would have been engaged with him and understood easily. I truly hope to see Soup again and again in future visits, he is a true star. If you are thinking of going to WonderWorks with your kids or even just the adults, do not hesitate! You won't regret it!

Best upside-down house I've ever been in! Kids had a blast. Each exhibit is a lession in science while staying fun.

Cool place for adults and kids alike - I enjoyed the hurricane simulator, the marvel comics photo booth, the "test your strength" games, the bicycle race game, and more. There's also a bubble station where you can blow giant bubbles and a bed of nails you can lie on (it's not as uncomfortable as it sounds).
The staff was very friendly and helped us when we lost an item we brought with us. I'd recommend visiting if you're in the area.
