  Main Event has been a go-to for birthday parties for my kids for the past two years. There is something for everyone to enjoy including the adults. The staff is friendly and helpful; they do everything for you.

  This place was an absolute nightmare. I went with my SO to have a good time after a long week and this was the only day off we had together. First we go in, scope it out, didn’t seem too bad. We ask about wait times for bowling, it’ll be about an hour to 2 hours. Which was fine, we wanted to grab food in the meantime. We get seated, order drinks. Our alcoholic beverages came out before our waters did and we had to bug our waitress for them. We order our food. 15 minutes goes by. Then 30. Then 50. Then it’s an hour. We watch 3 tables come and go before we even get our food. We speak to a manager because we sat down and there was MAYBE another table and others playing pool. So we say, this is unacceptable. She agrees, offers game cards…we say no. She offers a discount. Sure, we’ll take the discount. We get the check. 10% off. The waitress runs by. I pay. No option to leave no tip. $65 for awful food I could’ve gotten at Burger King. Bowling was already paid for, so I go to get my money refunded because at this point, I had walked in at 7-730ish and it is now 9pm. I have work tomorrow. I ask for said refund. The person at the desk goes to find manager. I see them turning to look at me and giggle. They offer more vouchers. No thanks, I won’t be coming back. This is an awful place that has an issue rectifying situations in which money and potential regular customers are involved. I could’ve paid $65 for food at a better place and spent my precious time elsewhere rather than staring at Cartoon Network, the waitress, the manager and bartenders purposely avoiding eye contact because they have an issue with solving problems with customers.

  I do not recommend, I booked to go bowling paid my $85 , couldn’t make it because i didn’t feel well & I still haven’t received a call back or a refund .. I go to the one in Jacksonville all the time & I never had this issue before .. this happened on Feb 21st & it’s nie March 10th ..

  I will never dine at this place again. We were the only people in the restaurant and we still got poor service. They didn't ask if we needed refills or anything. They didn't even bring my food out. So, I just told them to forget about it. The waiter didn't apologize or anything. She was just like "Oh Okay" and walked away. Now I will say it was 10 of us but a place called Main Event and all the games, bowling, etc. that they offer to play, 10 people should have been a bleeze for them to wait on. SMH never again.

  We ate in their dine in and was specific with my order. Asked if we had to take fries with the hamburger and she said we could have something else. When we received our ticket there was an upcharged for the salad and ranch dressing which she did not tell us. I talked with manager and all she said was "ok". I felt deceived and didn't even want to make things right. Not happy with what happened. I see how they make extra money.
