Some (including the XD) have d-box, which mimics the motion on screen, very huge plus for movies loaded with driving or flying scenes. Speaking of XD, its a fun experience, but I strongly prefer the AMC Waterfront. Their IMAX and Dolby Cinema auditoriums are the best way to go for the premium experience if you are willing to go the distancd
