  Sugarbomb Entertainment is fantastic. Jon is a true professional who brings creativity and great energy to every event. His hybrid setup with electronic drums is absolutely amazing and adds something unique to the experience. As a fellow DJ and NACE member, I have a lot of respect for his talent, his work ethic, and the passion he brings to this industry. It is always a pleasure working alongside him.

  We hired Sugarbomb for our wedding and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the start, Julia helped keep everything organized and answered all our questions. Jon, our DJ, was a fantastic maitre de and kept the night moving. He was able to take our broad taste in music and make it into a cohesive playlist. The music selection was perfect for our crowd, and he read the room so well. The photobooth was also a huge hit! The props were fun, the backdrop looked great, and the photo quality was fantastic. Our booth attendant, Matt, was friendly, organized, and made sure everyone got their photos quickly. We loved receiving the digital gallery afterward. It was such a nice keepsake to add those prints to our guestbook! If you’re looking for a DJ and photobooth vendor who delivers top-tier service, this is the team to book. Highly recommend!

  This review is for DJ Jon "R2DITO." Unfortunately, my wife and I were very disappointed in working with him for our wedding. Prior to the big day we had shared Spotify playlists with Jon, along with instructions for snipping long intros for certain songs. Jon shocked us by accidentally playing our "walkout" song 'This Will Be an Everlasting Love' early in the night, for which he apologized when we pointed that out to him, but as my wife noted it must have meant he never paid close attention to our shared Google doc in the first place. In previous meetings leading up to the wedding, Jon made us feel that we were being too uptight, that he would have everything under control and taken care of, but it turns out on our actual wedding day he was simply not prepared to execute our vision. There were multiple instances where he played the entirety of songs that had awkwardly long intros or fadeouts, and one of our long-distance guests (who is a professional DJ in California) said the dance floor vibe was so chaotic he would rate it a "2 out of a 10." In looking back, we never felt fully comfortable that Jon was carefully listening to our requests during our prep calls, (including the first call which he skipped without warning due to an issue with his cat), and we wish we would have made a switch to another DJ before it was too late for our wedding.

  Booking Jon Ardito (R2DITO) through Sugarbomb Ent. was one of the best decisions we made. All throughout the wedding planning process, Jon and his team were responsive, quick to answer questions, and provide suggestions thanks to their previous in-depth knowledge of our venue. We also booked Mindy Cutcher, an incredible harpist, through Sugarbomb and she absolutely made our ceremony! The rest of our evening went perfectly, and Jon's timing and music sequence was great throughout dinner and later to keep our guests on the dancefloor. Some of our most memorable moments were us dancing to our no-skip songs during the reception. Also, up-lighting absolutely transformed our reception hall and really set the mood for a lively dancefloor! We can't recommend Sugarbomb enough to any couple looking for excellent DJ and lighting services!
