- ENEthan NixonJan 6, 20261.0Zero stars if I could. They don’t wait on you in the theater. You have to get up to get any drink. They bring you your food if you order on an app or a concession stand. This is no different than an AMC or Regal, just worse in every way. There is nothing special about Movie Tavern anymore. Skip it and go somewhere else. They USED to have servers to wait on you, get you drinks and food, all without leaving your seat. Now, it’s just like anywhere else. Save your money and time. “Lounge and in-theatre dining experience” - from their website. This is a dining experience the same way going to a baseball game is a dining experience.

Then at 1 hour 30 minutes, I checked again and the got the food that had been sitting there while they were eating and joking around so the food was cold! Terrible experience
- IOIvory ODec 20, 20251.0This establishment has significantly declined over the years. I took my children tonight and the theater was dirty upon arrival. The restrooms were also dirty. The ordering experience was a nightmare. You can no longer order from your seat which is counter to the whole Movie Tavern concept. The website deleted our whole order while attempting to check out. I would recommend driving a little extra and trying one of the other Movie Tavern locations.

Seat didn’t work, terrible mobile ordering experience, server did not bring any napkins, and also 0 instructions on how to order when you get to your seat, kids talking through the whole movie. When comparing this to the Alamo Drafthouse, the Movie Tavern really lacks a good experience. Alamo has polite wait staff, free cups of water, easy ordering experience, great no talking policy, and reasonable prices. Maybe it’s the flourtown movie tavern specifically but honestly will not be going back.
