  First time Going to movie Tavern. The sound of the movie wasn’t that great. The tables were sticky and not clean. The food was very below average for the price that you pay for it and me and my children now are going to bed with horrible gas and sick tummies. It was just very bad quality. We will come back. They did enjoy it because the seats were very comfortable, but we will no longer order food there. also, I was not very happy with the fact that I had to watch a 10 minute clip before the movie with the two brothers that owned this franchise trying to convince you to join the club. It was weird. It was annoying. I felt like I was at a Zoom call at work and the kids just kept asking me When’s the movie going to start?

  Bacon cheeseburger was a bit salty and if you're going to eat, do it within the beginning of the trailers/ or movie b/c it was a bit too dark to see our food.

  I generally think Movie Tavern is a great place to go to see movies-in fact it's my favorite theater-but recently I'd say the food has gone downhill by miles. The mozzarella sticks (if you can even call them that) are in this weird wonton wrapper and the cheese is so bad that even if the things come out piping hot, it's still like biting into a hard block. I ate one and couldn't finish the rest. Don't even get me started on the chicken sandwiches. I don't know what happened to their standards but I recently had the Nashville Hot sandwich and the texture was just so wrong (like a ball of rubber bands) that I can only assume the whole thing was either freezer burnt or more concerningly, underdone. I don't know if I can go as far as to say the food was unsafe but it was just SO bad that my stomach didn't feel well after coming home. I'll definitely be sticking to the popcorn from now on.

  This is a good place to go see a movie. Especially on Tuesdays when the rates are significantly cheaper, and the prices get better if you join their free movie club. The seats are comfy, the sound quality is generally good, and the people are pretty nice and helpful. You can also get a meal here. For the quality of food they're serving, the prices are high. They do nickel and dime you on a lot of things that I think are ridiculous. Also, it's a little on the greasy side, though I find their nachos and chicken ceaser salad to be good. Despite the food, this is the only place I go to the movies in the area.
