Because Cathy is so experienced, she was able to determine right away what level to start me at this time around, and I have been so pleased with the progress I have made in just one year with her. Her teaching style is relaxed, and lessons are personalized to students’ abilities, interests, and learning styles. They are enjoyable, too! My 6-year old son has also been taking lessons for the past several months, and Cathy has been just amazing with her ability to hold his attention and make learning to play the piano fun for him. We look forward to our lessons each week. I highly recommend Cathy as a piano teacher for anyone who wants to learn to play the piano, or play the piano better!
