Usually I can ignore these and enjoy myself but the age policy is just ridiculous. I tried to go take my teenage brother to go see an R rated movie but wasn’t allowed in because I wasn’t a “guardian” despite being 24 years old! Every other theater I’ve been to allowed us in if one of us was over 21 but apparently not here! I usually enjoy coming here but we’re just gonna have to go somewhere else now thanks to that ridiculous policy

(+1 star) however i went to see an r rated movie a few weeks ago with my friends and even tho one of us was old enough to be our "guardian" (bc she was 22), we all had to show our id. not a huge deal bc we are all adults, but still technically not right because 21+ is considered a "guardian." they said they needed official proof of her being a guardian, but that is none of their business. why would they need to see that paperwork for a 2 1/2 hour movie. the person checking tickets wasnt kind about it either, they didnt believe us at first that we were adults after showing our id. sorry my skins glowing.

I'm an adult, so I figured it would be fine since I can technically be his guardian. The guy that was looking at our tickets asked for my ID and then asked my brother for his, which I told them he doesn't have one since he isn't old enough. The guy then said we couldn't see the movie, since I'm not his "legal" guardian and that I would have to provide documented proof that I was, which is ridiculous considering I'm over 21. They refused to give me a refund since it was past showing time, so I spent like $60 on tickets and snacks just to not even see the movie.
