I took my son to the New Super Mario Movie the Reel Movies for Real Needs for kiddos with special needs/disabilities and had a horrible experience. The lights were not on and the volume was full blast. Because of that we had to leave early. Very disappointed as super Mario is my sons special interest and this was not the experience I was expecting.

Be really careful about which theater you choose. Some of the theaters have terrible terrible washed-out misaligned screens. A newer iPhone screen had better colors and contrast than this. The bathrooms are either clean or disgusting.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Theater With Personality — and Actual Atmosphere Marcus Pickerington isn’t just a place to watch a movie; it’s a place that remembers movies. Walking in, you’re greeted with bold displays, iconic costumes, and a sense of cinematic history that most modern theaters traded away for beige minimalism. The Ghostface exhibit alone is worth the stop — playful, eerie, and perfectly staged. The lobby has character, the décor has intention, and the whole space feels like it was designed by people who actually love film. It’s refreshing. No sterile corporate energy, no soulless LED‑lit void. Just a theater that embraces nostalgia, spectacle, and a little theatrical drama. Staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the atmosphere makes even a casual movie night feel like an event. If you’re anywhere near Pickerington, this theater is absolutely worth the detour.

It was there is very expensive. Only good thing was the chairs. Other than that. I was kind of sad I should’ve went to AMC. I drove a 2030 minutes for basically a better experience and what I got they need to upgrade and the prices was ridiculous for the food ridiculous. They’re reclining chair that me and my son got mine was stuck. His seat was bumping next to mine that’s how close it was. We both couldn’t have our chairs reclined. I would never go back sorry.

We have been long term movie goers and customers of Marcus theater for about two years now. We had a very unfortunate experience in the pickerington theater today around 9pm EST. We were standing in line at the food counter when a women was standing there as well waiting for food. A younger gentleman stepped in to grab his food as his buzzer was going on. When he stepped to the counter the women began telling the younger gentleman how he ditched her in line and began getting loud, I stated to the women that we were all waiting for food and that if you buzzer goes off you retrieve your food and there was really no “line” the lady immediately started screaming and cussing and stepped towards my husband and I. She threatened physical harm and stated was going to go grab her husband to “drag us out the theater” we did not engage. Security had stepped in and proceeded to talk to the women who was being loud and yelling, cussing and was told to step outside. The manager Makenna then stepped In and told the lady to clam down and after talking to her for less than 60 second override the security guard who was escorting her out, and let her return back the movie. We come to Marcus theater due to feeling safe, and accommodation. How can a Marcus theater employee let a customer who was threatening customers physical harm and escalating a situation which could have turned forceful, return back to her movie with no repercussions. I value my safety, and I frequently bring my children here. This is not the behavior I would expect Marcus to tolerate. And because of this reason we left without seeing our movie and our tickets and food purchase was wasted. This type of enabled behavior of customer sets a standard for behaviors at the theaters and poses safety risks to other customers as well, this time it was with us and we did not escalate the situation but another time it could be someone else, or kids near by. This is a major safety concern and was not properly handled effectively. We did address our concerns to management who disregarded our concerns. Please feel free to please review cameras to validate claim. Thank you.
