Capabilities is an indoor playspace for Children of ALL abilities. We have both standard and specialty equipment available all in one space so that children with special needs can play alongside their siblings and peers. We have equipment for varying levels of fine/gross motor skills, wheelchair accessible equipment, as well as a wide variety of items for our friends with sensory needs. A Physical Therapist was consulted during the design!

    We love playing at Capabilities! My son is 3 years old and we have been going to capabilities since he was around 1. He asks to go all the time and would stay all day long if I let him. He is never bored there and he loves meeting new people to play with! His favorite part right now is the new addition of monkey bars over the back ball pit but he also loves the tunnel, swings, train and whenever the special theme area gets changed! My favorite part is that with a baby and a toddler, there are tons of clean and soft surfaces for my baby to practice her skills and I can see my toddler from almost anywhere in the building so he can play safely in eye sight while I sit with the baby. I also love that there is no music blaring adding to the noise of a busy play room because it is so much calmer and has a more relaxed vibe than some other play places in the area. I can actually have a conversation with friends, other parents and the awesome staff without having to talk loudly and strain to hear them. They have the best events for different holidays and are such a fun but relaxing way to celebrate - I have been to both capability hosted events and birthday parties that people rent the party room for and they are always a blast!

    I'm so glad we hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday at Capabilities. It offered the perfect space for a toddler/small child party. The party room was spacious and easy to move in and out of as kids ran back and forth from play to party related activities. Adults had plenty of space to hang out. And the woman working that morning (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!) was incredibly helpful and kind. Pricing was competitive for the area and we had plenty of time for setup and clean up. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

    My grandchildren absolutely love this place. We originally visited for a birthday party and have returned back several times . I find thats its a very comfortable , safe and clean facility. The staff and owner are amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future 🙂

    Capabilities is the best space for my 2 special babes. Of course any child is welcome and its a wonderful clean space for all, but my autistic children and I feel especially safe and welcome in this playspace thats designed for inclusivity. The snack bar offers a variety of yummy snacks at AFFORDABLE pricing. You may bring in outside food and beverages which is a rarity in itself. ! The owner and staff are kind, caring, and ever so compassionate. Capabilities is truley a one of a kind hidden gems in the community of west carrolton !

    Absolutely rude front desk lady. She yelled at a deaf little girl that was maybe 3 years old because she had a small plastic shovel in the ball pit area. No harm was being done. She was completely out of line. Worker was very rude and yelled several times at the kids. I definitely don’t recommend nor will I go back.
