- LALeslie Axel2 days ago1.0I’m extremely disappointed with my experience trying to purchase the The Devil Wears Prada purse popcorn at Cinemark Tinseltown. For three weeks, I called multiple times to get accurate information on when these would be available. Each time, I was told something different: – A week before the movie – The day of the movie – At showtime when I arrived I showed up early—at 1:00 PM for a 3:30 PM movie—specifically to avoid missing out, only to be told they were already sold out. Then I find out they only had 11 total and it was “first come, first serve.” That information was never clearly communicated during any of my calls. This isn’t just about a sold-out item—it’s about poor communication and a complete lack of consistency from staff. Customers should not have to chase down basic details for weeks just to be misinformed. If inventory is that limited, say that upfront so people can plan accordingly. This experience was frustrating, avoidable, and handled poorly.
