Above the Barre Dance & Gymnastics

More than a dance studio, Above the Barre is a place where you can take a dance class, learn gymnastics, perfect your tumbling skills or have fun in a ninja class. And if you are looking for birthday party places, or somewhere to host team-building activities, we offer a unique venue. Our mission is to help you build confidence and coordination through the use of arts and athletics. Our facility features both dance and gymnastics amenities. We have men’s and women’s gymnastics equipment, in-ground trampoline and tumble track, three foam pits, two ropes, two spring floors and three dance studios. And a second location—less than a mile away—is equipped with aerial arts apparatus, early childhood gymnastics equipment and additional dance rooms. So whether you are looking for ballet classes, hip hop dance classes, aerial classes or ninja classes, our professional instructors will bring out the best in you. We also put an emphasis on boys gymnastics. We have some students who are nationally ranked and others who just are looking for a more casual pastime. It’s your choice! If you are looking for competitive outlets, we have in-house recreation leagues as well as more competitive leagues, and we also host summer camps, dance recitals and perform the Nutcracker ballet. As soon as a child starts walking, we have programs for them! We have parent-child classes, preschool gymnastic classes and programs for school-age students. And it’s not just kids’ play, as we have adult dance classes and open gyms, which provide a fun way to stay fit. Begin here, go anywhere!
