Draper Center is Western New York’s premier dance academy. Come see why we’re considered one of the most distinguished dance training & ballet schools in the United States. Located in Monroe County, we are the official training school for Rochester City Ballet, Rochester’s premier professional ballet company. We offer a wide variety of educational dance programs including kid’s dance classes & adult dance classes. The school prides itself on providing the highest level of classical ballet and dance training while adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character and stresses standards of excellence applicable to all areas of life.

Her teachers are the perfect balance of disciplined and kind—so knowledgeable, supportive, and truly amazing at what they do. The level of instruction and focus on both proper form and performance is unmatched. It’s clear that Draper is not only the best dance school in the Rochester area, but possibly beyond. The progress she’s made in such a short time has blown us away, and we can’t wait to see how she continues to grow here. We have also had an amazingly welcoming experience from the other dancers as well as parents! We’re so thankful to have found this incredible school!

The studios are well maintained and the teachers are professional and really understand how to both dance beautifully and ensure that your form is safe for your body.

Draper is the feeder school so if you do go threw all the way to the end of Draper's level you might be asked to be in the Rochester City Ballet. I hope that someday I'll get into that. As a paid professional.
