"There are places on this earth that have been made sacred by what happened there" (Marlin K. Jensen). For example, Sinai, Horeb, where the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning. This is one of those places!
In this sacred place, God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph Smith ushering in the dispensation of the fullness of times (Ephesians 1:10).

One of those amazing places to commune with God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ and feel the influence of the Holy Ghost. The word for how I felt as I prayed here and pondered was”Redeemed”. Joseph came here to seek redemption for his sins and I felt redeemed by my Savior here as well.
