  Pay attention to the three dollar signs--this is moviegoing with all the bells and whistles. I ended up at iPic for a Tuesday matinee to see Send Help. I've never been to iPic before but the showtime worked for my schedule. I don't think I'll be back again unless it's on someone else's dime. I'm not normally one to write reviews, but this place is such a terrible value for your money I had to share. The ticket selection process is opaque and the first cash grab you encounter. The cheapest seat I could get for, again, a Tuesday matinee was $19. Good thing I looked online, at the ticket counter I was presented with premium seat options and blanched at the $30 ticket price. The first 2 rows are their standard seats. I ended up in the 2nd row, which really isn't a bad view. If you want to sit in the very front row they have these cozy looking pods, but guess what--you have to buy 2 tickets to sit there. My $19 seat did not come with service at my seat so I ordered at the concession stand. No big deal, I'm also saving money on a tip since I don't have a server. From there you wait for a text alerting you your order is ready. On principle I don't think movie theaters should be encouraging phone use, so I didn't love that. Navigating the heavy theater door with a heavy tray of food was also not great. My grilled cheese was around $17, and was tasty and high quality. If you do end up sitting in the non premium seats I'd recommend arriving early so you can order, wait for your food to be made, and pick it up before the movie starts. The bathroom situation is bizarre. First, there's only 1 for all the movie theaters, if I was there during a busy time the line would have lasted forever. It's also upstairs and through the over-designed restaurant. Once you make the trek and are about to pee your pants you realize the worst part of the entire place: the doors to the bathroom stalls are FROSTED GLASS???? You can see for yourself in the photo. 2 stars because the food was good, the seat was comfortable enough, and the service was fine. I hope most of my money goes to the workers there, but I doubt it because on top of the rent for their Financial District location, there are so many weird features to this theater it must cost an arm and a leg just for upkeep. This is clearly a "luxury" experience but only if you shell out top dollar across the board. In the era of movie theaters having full meal options that are brought to your seat (no matter what seat you choose), or the standard movie experience of popcorn at the concession stand with deals like matinee pricing, I had a bit of both experiences at an outrageous price. I'm a movie lover and always prefer to see movies in theaters, but there were so many "gotcha" moments it really affected my experience.

  Really enjoyed the experience at iPic in Manhattan. The seating is very comfortable and arranged in private pods for two, which makes the movie feel more relaxed and personal. You can order food and drinks right from your seat and the service is very good. The theater itself is clean and well organized, including the restrooms. Overall a great place if you want a more comfortable movie night.

  We were struggling to figure out a date night idea until we stumbled upon IPIC Theater!!! Theee definition of dinner and a movie. My wife and I visited the Fulton Street location last night and had the most amazing experience. We met Travis who walked us to our seats and made sure we were comfortable. He then assigned us a server, that’s when we realized he was actually the GM!! Him and his staff made us feel like celebrities (not even kidding). The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The Nashville chicken sliders and the chicken nachos are a must try!! I wish I remembered which drinks I had, just try all. The service was quick and the best part is you won’t miss a second of the movie. We can’t wait to visit again.

  I’ve been coming to ipic for years. But this recent experience was one for the books. I enjoyed the experience in the premium section. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Eddie was very pleasant and welcoming. He’s a great host and displayed premium customer service. Eddie was amazing!

  My experience with IPIC Theater to go see scream 7 (rate 7 feel like it will be a 8 lol like the other scream movies ) It was beautiful inside very clean same goes with the women bathroom everyone was friendly and was respectful. the food i just had ice cream sandwiches share with my son so it was really that good but too hard on the cookie. of the ice cream sandwich The seats was comfortable, but I purchased the wrong one and supposed to get the other seats, but will be to coming back again because me and my son actually like the theater experience . the bartender, very respectful and nice I can say he needs to wear gloves when he touch herbs dealing with food especially even Mojito you have to use gloves when you’re touch it because we still have Covid around drink was 6 was very good but I like it strong lol. I will come back again btw getting the food was cool but very long time to get it I like how they text u to let u know your food is ready I didn’t mind the price at all 💙☺️
