Then the sponge Bob squarepants movie finally started just before 3 pm. For 10 minutes it shown teen age mutant ninja turtles short movie. Not the way run a movie for little kids.
- ADAnjie DeeFeb 11, 20265.0Still a very nostalgic place for me. I don’t think there is a better cinema on the island. All the hit movies, plenty of parking. You may have a long walk but there is always plenty of parking. This sits on the cross of 495 “LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY” and Nichols road to Stony brook or Bluepoint. A few restaurants with bars are in the from of the parking lot. Some have been a revolving door through the pandemic. Just when things seemed to stabilize, one restaurant has gone out of business and there is another that is being renovated to be something else. Long Island railroad and ISP airport are 7-10 Uber rides away.

A patron went out to the lobby and complained. She was told they were moving us to another theatre, but no one came to tell us that. So we all got up and went to the other theater. No apology, no offer for free refreshments or a free ticket to an upcoming show. Nothing!!!
- DSDanny SpitzerJan 26, 20263.0Serious audio issues. Saw "Jaws" in summer of 2025 and the volume was so low, lower than any other theater that I've been to, and I have excellent hearing. Could barely hear the intro music. Then in December of 2025, saw "Wicked" and at first the sound was very low (again), and then it suddenly jumped up. Yet some people that we went with were on the left side of the theater and they said the volume was down for the entire showing. Also, the cleanliness of this place is on the poor end. This place seems to be deteriorating. It's a shame they haven't kept up with it. Unless they fix some of these things, it might be time for us to find a new theater....
