Unsuspecting from the outside, this venue is absolutely massive and very impressive architectureally on the inside. Feels like you're attending a show from years past, while having comfy seats and good amenities. Felt very spacious compared to some of the more cramped theaters you'll find in Manhattan. Good sightlines and audio even from way up high.

Really gorgeous theater in the heart of Brooklyn. They don't build these types of palaces any more and it is like stepping into a time machine. The acoustics are really good, the seats were comfortable, and wide enough in the mezzanine that I had tremendous amounts of leg room.

The Michael McIntyre show was incredible. The staff at the venue is absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The venue is still in beautiful condition since its refurbishing a number of years ago, the acoustics excellent and the view of the stage... quite good. The only issue, and it is a big one, is that the bathrooms are all downstairs. Many of us who are no longer 20-30, who have bad knees or other issues, find it extremely difficult climbing those steps. And don't even think about using the bathroom after the show because the line waiting to go down the steps was 20+ minutes long. Not everyone lives around the corner from the venue. Some in our group had one and a half hours before they would get home. This is a major drawback.

I had an excellent experience here! Full of pleasant surprises. It's actually a nice quiet walk from the Q Beverly stop. You line up for entry on the little lot beside the building and not awkwardly on the sidewalk like most other venues. Seat was roomy and comfy. I was fully expecting to be blinded and have my ears destroyed by the strobe light and speaker on the stage directly in front of me-but no the entire performance looked and sounded perfect. I was honestly impressed. The staff were super chill and friendly. The place is also just architecturally gorgeous inside. Some notes. I was online early enough to snag a front row pit seat, yet did not see the VIP meet and greet + signed poster option ANYWHERE on the ATG site. Fans told me that yes it was easy to miss and kinda weirdly done especially when you're rushing. I've listened to this artist everyday for 20+ years and I was very upset I missed out. That other ticket company we all hate makes VIP packages very easy to add. Kings Theatre also offers $20 Premium access. This gets you early entry. Something to consider if the artist has limited merch. Not sure of the other perks of that.

Overall a mix of greatness and let down, things that an experienced venue should know better took away from the experience - the theater itself lookss absolutely stunning, but attention to details ultimately took away from the overall experience. Accessibility down towards the front section requires a series of small steps with no hand rails more difficult than it should have been. The concert also sounded like it had not been mixed properly at the start, with much of the bands major players not being able to be heard over the extremely muddy bass. This improved over the course of the show, as the tech team tried to balance things throughout, but only started to get things right on the back half of the set list. The stage lights were also misaligned such that their extremely bright sweeps came down to blast the audience at eye level, forcing you to opt out of watching one of the songs or risk being blinded.
