  Everyone knows nathans has the BEST fast food french fries; the perfect contrast of fluff and crunch, with that signature one-of-a-kind krinkle cut texture as the cherry atop a delicious fried potato sundae. And just as sundae’s have their cherry, so too do they need their hot fudge, and for a high pile of coney island spuds, that means an oogey gooey molten dollop of crayola colored nacho cheez. But it is in the proper dispensing and presentation of said cheez where our sundae/french fri analogy takes a detour— for as every gentleman and even flat earth society memember knows, a cheez sauce is most thoroughly enjoyed when administered in a receptacle independent of the paper basket containing the fries; as a sly sidecar dunker, a soothing and shimmering oasis of lactosal delight. And so, dear reader, one can understand my death-becoming, world-destroyer-of outrage when I was informed that at this particular nathans— located inside the Linden Boulevard Multiplex Cinemas —there exists an outrageous, rapacious, and wholly unprecedented cost discrepancy between the fries that are drowned and made soggy and get nacho cheese squished under the fingernails, and the fries that give the consumer the freedom to apply the cheez to the extent they want it, and the further freedom to not worry about piles of napkins and sticky cheesy fingertips. What is that price discrepancy? TWO DOLLARS AND FIFTEEN CENTS MORE, TO HAVE YOUR CHEEZ ON THE SIDE. $2.15???!!! It does not take any more effort, or really cost any more than a few pennies to put cheez in a small plastic container, vs drowning them all over the fries. $2.15 is an absolute outrage. It makes absolutely no sense, and I will be contacting nathan’s corporate to make them aware of this horrible injustice. To anticipate the only possible rebuttal I can fathom — the side cheez container is fairly large, so it probably contains more cheez.OK, but not $2.15 more, and also why cant you just fill it half way or 1/4 or whatever the amount would be, at least give the consumer the option. Ridiculous, shameful, rapacious, outrageous
