- MMMaureen1 day ago5.0Illuminarium was hands down the best money we’ve spent in a long time. It was my husband and our two 4-year-olds, and we saw the Space show, it was absolutely beautiful. The educational part was so well done, and the graphics and videos were incredible. What really made it next level though was how immersive it felt. The projections weren’t just on a screen, the floor and all the walls were included, completely surrounding you. It honestly felt like we were standing in outer space, traveling through the planets and nebulas up close. At certain moments you almost forget you’re in a room because everything around you looks so real. There was actually a point where I felt myself getting emotional. Seeing how massive the universe is and realizing how much is still out there… it really hits you. I had this overwhelming moment of thinking about how I’m just a tiny human on our little planet Earth in this enormous universe. It was humbling in the most beautiful way. It’s hard to even describe how magical it was, you just have to experience it for yourself. My 4-year-olds were obsessed. They already love everything about the solar system and beyond, so this ended up being the perfect birthday activity for them. Total must-see. 🌌✨

We did the Space theme and the visuals were absolutely stunning — felt like we were floating through the cosmos. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all part of the projection. Great for couples or families. The sound design is incredible, bring open minds and comfortable shoes. About 45 minutes. One of the coolest things we did on our entire trip.

Space and Wild were really unique experiences. I highly recommend getting the Area 15 pass...you will miss out of you don't take full advantage of this great facility.
- DGdw greggFeb 20, 20263.0Area 15 is a multiple venue facility. The illuminarium is large 2 rooms with interactive floor. It's a large room, floor to ceiling with visual videos. It's nice, but if you been to Arte, I think you'd be disappointed. Really wish they would redesign in that manner. This is all personal preference. But I would recommend visiting and viewing yourself. Inside main building, they are great activities and a I enjoyed the upper arcade. Overall, worth the trip. Looking forward to trying the John Wick experience.

This would be great if you had kids but I would pass if you’re with all adults. I did enjoy some of the images of space but I think 45 mins is tops. We spent about 25-30 mins total. Most of the comfy seating was taken by kids. They have different images around the room. We only went in two rooms.

The attraction is brought to life through an unprecedented blend of 4K laser projection providing guests a connected and shared entertainment journey. Audio beams create a unique and precise sound experience for each individual. In-floor haptics produce realistic sensations for visitors, such as the ground-shaking with an elephant’s stomp or leaving a footprint on the moon as you walk. The experience even has scent, adding authentic enhancement to the immersive experience. Our cinematic immersion will place you into the middle of the narrative unfolding around you. This is achieved without wearable hardware of any kind - this is not a 3D or 4D experience.
Strobe effects, gentle floor vibration, immersive sound, and realistic & responsive projection are all part of the experience, but nothing is intended to be frightening or disorienting. The intensity of the various elements will depend on the featured spectacle.
The attraction experience takes place completely indoors.

Is there seating inside Illuminarium?
You can move around the experience at your leisure and have free range throughout. There is seating to enjoy the experience from a different perspective if desired. The experience takes place in a space of 10,000 square feet – from end to end, the space is approximately 220 feet long.
Do I need to wear headphones or goggles?
There is no wearable hardware of any kind required to enjoy Illuminarium. Our cutting-edge technology will be all you need to be fully-immersed in the experience.
