Was it cool? Sure. Definitely cool. It was well-designed and there was a lot to do. If you want to spend several hours there, I would definitely recommend one of the bundled packages, but until you understand how the vibe will hit you, it might make more sense just to get a ticket for Meow Wolf. Basically, this is one big tourist trap centered around Meow Wolf. And Meow Wolf... frankly... again, cool... but... meh. It was presentational art that may have had a narrative running through it, but, if that were the case, I wasn't smart enough to discern the plot. Because of that, I felt like I was missing out on something. Further, the aesthetic surrounding the place simply wasn't my thing. This is rave-kid. EDM (which I actually like). Lollypop and baby backpack. We felt too old. In all, interesting, overpriced, couldn't get out quick enough.

AREA15 is one of the coolest places to hang out in Las Vegas, especially if you want something different from the Strip. There’s no entry fee, which is great. Parking is paid, but you can sometimes find free street parking nearby. Most rides and experiences cost extra, so you can either just walk around and enjoy the vibe or choose specific attractions. Omega Mart was really good—very unique and immersive. It starts like a normal store but turns into a completely different world with hidden rooms and creative visuals. Definitely a highlight. The Boeing 747 installation was very cool, and the vehicles around the area are fun to check out. The horror experience was really good, and the John Wick experience was also great—both are worth trying. Overall, it’s a great place to walk around, take photos, and spend time with friends. You can keep it low-cost or spend more on experiences depending on what you want.

conceptually this is a pretty cool place. but confusing. for a first time visit it's unclear where to go and what to see. There are online descriptions of each attraction but they seem more poetic than descriptive. There are screens with maps posted in the common space, but the screen resolution is so low it's impossible to read them. we did eventually enjoy the scavenger hunt, but being stuck on the phone screen to do it all -- is actually less cool then may have sounded at first. food options are pretty limited, and slow to serve (although the buba tea/soft ice cream place were very nice) bought the "Level 1" tkt, but ended up not even using half of it because the wait lines for each game are too long and the games themselves take at most 1-2 minutes to complete. There appears to be space for more game stations, but not enough staff/VR sets set up. the really cool things to see start at level 2+ and we did pay extra for a few of them -- why even have the levels -- if some of the "events" are more expensive -- why not just sell me "credits" and have the simpler games cost 1cred, and more expensive ones cost 2creds+? Needless confusion. I also got tired of asking if each of the venues is included in Level 1 or not, there's a list somewhere, and it was emails to me when I bought the tkts -- but do I really need to memorize a long list of clever abstract things just to enjoy a visit? and with an electronic tkt, there's not even a way to know how many rides I have left.

The employee named Cassius is the ONLY good thing about this place. We had a terrible experience from the minute we walked in. $20 to rent a locker for our luggage which would be fine...if we didnt have issues after trying to purchase a day pass. They dont take cash so we had to put money in a machine to purchase a debit card and then buy a day pass. The machine did not work so we had to call a number on our receipt which then told us to have customer service call "Bob" to finish our transaction. 45 minutes later we finally had a play pass for our son, stood in line for 10 minutes to play VR dodgeball when it was his turn they made him play by himself against robots even though there were people in line behind us that said they would play with him but the employee wouldn't let them. He did not have a good time and after looking around there was not much else that even seemed worth it so we asked the front desk for a refund and Cassius was great and friendly and happily refunded us for our day pass. We were out $25 for the Uber and $20 for the locker but at least we got our day pass back. Horrible business set up, do NOT recommend. I dont know how familes have fun and have a good experience here...I wish we did. We had high hopes for this place and wanted to kill 2 hours before our flight but our 11 year old son did not have a good time and we spend a lot of time at arcades regularly. Lame.

Horrible experience. Drinks were way over priced, but we knew that ahead of time and don't mind supporting an establishment focused on the arts in any manner. While attending We're All Mad Here, we were forcibly removed from the premises with no explanation after my wife tripped over an overdosed person that was laying on the floor of the VIP section. The only explanation we were given was that "intoxication is not tolerated." Meanwhile a man was sitting on the floor completely unable to speak while a staff member sat with him. I had asked him if he was okay and he was not able to answer. The staff member rolled her eyes at me and told me he's fine. A few minutes later we were greeted by several security guards surrounding my wife and we were forced to make our way through the crowd. I was separated from my wife in the crowd and when I finally made my way to the exit I found her restrained in a wheelchair surrounded by several male cops. My wife is 5 feet tall and weighs probably 85 pounds. Thankfully a female deputy approached and I pointed out that the given situation didn't seem appropriate. She asked other female officers and staff to take over for the big guys standing over her. At that point I was eager to leave the establishment, and ordered a Lyft. We were treated like absolute criminals with a again no explanation. I'll never attend any functions there again and make sure I let anyone know that asks my opinion. I felt targeted by staff and I'm just thankful we weren't injured in the process other than the few bumps and bruises my wife sustained when she tripped over an inebriated friend of the staff and fell. I'm contemplating consulting a lawyer after spending nearly $1,000 that evening. Unbelievable. Up to that point, however, the other staff seemed competent and the catering was amazing. Bartenders were very friendly but stern with customers that were out of control. Security at the VIP section seemed to be very good at checking for bracelets at entry.
