The layout, the comfort, the energy itâs everything I didnât realize I missed. I went to see Predator: Badlands with my daughter on a father-daughter date. She had just gone through a breakup, and we both needed a moment to breathe, to reconnect, to lose ourselves in a good story. The film was gritty, wild, and full of tension, but what made the night perfect wasnât just the movie it was being there, together, in that dark room where reality pauses for a while. Itâs been years since I last stepped inside a movie theater. Two and a half years ago, I weighed 700 pounds. Today, Iâm down to 440 and walking back into that theater felt like reclaiming a piece of my old joy. Back when I was younger, Tuesdays at the movies were my sanctuary. Sitting there again, surrounded by surround sound and dim light, it felt like I came full circle. And the seats? Beautifully designed. Spacious, soft, and strong. As a man of size, that comfort means more than most will ever understand. I could sit freely, lift the armrests, stretch out, and just enjoy. Thatâs priceless. To the Village Pointe team thank you. Thank you for creating a space that welcomes everyone, no matter their size or story. Youâve made going to the movies fun again for me and my daughter, and for that, youâve earned a lifelong customer. âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ â 5/5 A perfect father-daughter night.
