  Worst venue I have ever been to out of hundreds of venues. I came to a show out here in 2025 and it was bad, but I didn’t think much of it. Then last night I went and saw my absolute favorite DJ (Jai Wolf) of all time, and even that was bad. They oversell, it’s so crowded you can’t even move, and the sound is terrible, you can hear people talking around you more than the music. If you are a person just wanting a club atmosphere for socializing, it’s perfect, but if you care about music, it’s awful.

  Trios atmosphere is a 10/10 anyone who enjoys EDM music would love this place. Highly recommend.

  Extremely disappointed with my experience at Trio Charlotte. On Sunday night, after the music stopped at 2 a.m. and patrons were already walking out calmly, a security guard aggressively pushed two girls from our group, dragged them, and threw them out of the club completely unprovoked. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. The security staff clearly lack basic professionalism, decency, and respect, especially toward women. No one deserves to be manhandled or humiliated like that for no reason. What makes this even more concerning is the number of existing reviews mentioning racism and discriminatory behavior at Trio. For a club of this size and reputation, this kind of conduct is shocking. Disrespecting, pushing, and forcefully removing women is not “security” - it’s abuse of power.There was absolutely no reason to grab, push, or forcefully throw anyone out.

  I recently visited Trio for House Vibrations and was very disappointed. The music was substandard, and the floor was sticky throughout the night. At one point, someone broke a beer bottle, yet the glass was left on the floor for the rest of the evening, creating an obvious safety hazard. What really stood out was their contradictory policy on substances. Smoking CBD on the patio is not allowed, yet cigarettes are permitted. Inside, people are free to get drunk on alcohol and vape whatever they want, but CBD (legal in this state) is somehow forbidden. It’s hard to understand how excessive drinking and nicotine use are acceptable, but CBD is treated like a problem. This venue presents itself as forward-thinking, but these policies say otherwise. The inconsistency and lack of care for cleanliness and safety made this an experience I wouldn’t recommend.
