  Cinemark Kalispell really made a choice—and not a good one. Deciding not to show Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride isn’t just disappointing, it’s telling. When theaters claim to support “diverse voices” but quietly sideline projects led by women—especially ones that challenge norms—it starts to look a lot like the same old gatekeeping dressed up in corporate language. Let’s be honest: this feels like another example of whose stories are considered “worth” screen time. Women directing bold, unconventional films shouldn’t be treated as a risk to avoid—they’re exactly what the industry needs more of. Audiences here deserve access to films that push boundaries, not just the safest, most marketable picks. Choosing not to show The Bride sends a message, whether intended or not—and it’s not a great one. Do better, Cinemark. Support women filmmakers. Trust your audience.

  Magnificent screens, incredible audio, soft, high-backed, comfortable seats, and, get this - bathroom faucets with full streams of water and HANDLES to turn the water on and off. No constant seeking under the faucet with your hands in and out to get the water to come on. Crazy idea, huh? Handles! And full streams of water - no little trickle. Beautiful. The bathroom was the icing on the cake for a great experience. Oh - and PAPER towels!!! Yes! Oh, and great concession people and popcorn, by the way. You can't go wrong at this theater. Now, if Hollywood would just make some GOOD movies, am I right?

  I went to see the movie anaconda and the ads lasted for 50 minutes. It was a complete waist of time.
