First time I've been there since late 80's. Things have definitely changed since then. People were very friendly and great seats for a fantastic movie,(EPIC) Elvis Presley in concert.

Absolutely zero theatre etiquette every time i’ve gone since they killed Wehrenberg. Can’t go through a single movie without kids on their phones and adults giving unsolicited commentary. Had a toddler the row behind me while watching the new scream movie lol

Good theater but they got these new LEDs in every theater and they leave them on the whole time and it drives me insane

My family/friends have been customers of Ronnie’s for years and have never had a bad experience until last Thursday. We were sitting waiting for our movie to start when my niece received an emergency text from her mom. Mind you, her phone was silenced, her brightness was at the lowest, and she was holding her phone down in her lap. Another customer yelled “GET OFF YOUR PHONE!” We did not look back because we assumed the man was talking to his child. Another two minutes later we heard it again but this time it was so close so we turned around and a caucasian man was standing over my niece yelling at her as if he worked for the theatre. It was absolutely frightening. He was loud and very aggressive towards my niece. Mind you, my niece’s friend pointed out that there were three other patrons down front on their phones. But he kept yelling at my niece. The man then left the theatre to go get the manager. They returned and he pointed to my niece and said “that’s her!” The manager proceeded to scold my niece and talk to her completely disrespectfully, and not even get my niece’s side of the story, by saying “this is your final warning. If I have to come in here again, you all will be asked to leave.” This was completely embarrassing as the man caused more disruption in the theatre than my niece’s brief text to her mother did. His yelling filled the whole theatre and everyone was like “what the heck is wrong with him.” The manager was highly disrespectful. We could not enjoy the movie. My niece was completely uncomfortable, embarrassed, and afraid of the man especially how he jumped up at her. I reported this to the location, and the assistant manager Alina responded with this: “I spoke directly with the manager on duty that day. She shared that she was approached by another guest reporting phone use in the auditorium. When she entered, she did observe phone activity and provided a standard warning, advising that if there was an emergency, the guest could step into the hallway to use the phone.” Which is a blatant lie. My niece silenced her device, was not recording, nor was she causing a disturbance, which is Marcus Theatres core guidelines. I am not sure if this was a race issue being that my niece’s friend (a caucasian female) pointed out that maybe this happened because my niece was african-american and the other customers on their phones down front were caucasian. But current management at this location needs to be replaced. They are rude, obviously biased, and unprofessional. They did not care to make this right for all parties involved, and they allow their customers to harass and insult other paying customers. Sad.

Out of all the years my family and I have been going to this theatre, this was one of the worst experiences we have ever encountered!!! We were treated very poorly from the app having issues, missing the original show time we wanted to getting a later show that costed more because it was the larger theater, to being in the theater talked to like a child and threatened to be escorted out for showing excitement is ridiculous!!! Not rowdy. Not disrespectful. Not interrupting the movie. How are we still treated so poorly?! We make it our mission to travel to this theatre because of the amenities and the staff was always gracious to us, except for this time. I have no idea what is different now but I have never been treated this way. Something has to change.
