  If you're tired of the usual crowded spots and want a proper night club in Kansas City, Laila Lounge is a breath of fresh air. The staff is attentive, and the crowd is great. It’s quickly becoming my favorite KC nightclub for the weekend. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.

  Found this spot while looking for the best nightclubs in Kansas City and it didn’t disappoint. The vibe at Laila Lounge is elite—great music and the lighting really sets the mood. It’s definitely one of the top nightclubs in Kansas City if you’re looking for a solid night out with friends. Will be coming back for sure!

  This place is way too pretentious for being in West Bottoms. I came in expecting entertaining dancers and great music and it was so underwhelming. There was a strong sewer smell that was unbearable. The cover charge is ridiculously high for what you’re walking into and the drinks are way overpriced for their taste. I thought it was just an off night so I came back but it was still disappointing. What really put me off was the treatment walking into the place. I came in looking well put together on a hot night after I had left a dinner where I was complimented and was truly having a great night just for this place to completely ruin it. They have themed nights with strict dress codes and the attitude from the owner with glasses was very judgmental and classist. He scoffed at me for wearing a dress tank and said I was not welcome. This place cares more about appearing exclusive than actually providing a fun high quality experience and it comes across as forced and out of touch. This was the most disappointing nightlife experience I’ve had and I work in luxury hospitality so I will never recommend this place to anyone.

  1st off I want to say it's a beautiful looking place. Very nice decor & atmosphere. And it's really cool that they have themes every weekend. But this is a place you visit if there's a special occasion you're celebrating. It's too expensive to be a spot you'd want to go every weekend or even every other weekend. The entrance fee is the highest I've ever paid for a venue in KC & in my opinion it's overpriced. The drinks are also very overpriced. One 6oz glass of wine was $25. You can get a whole bottle for that in some restaurants. While the themed events are cool, there are other places that do the same thing in KC with cheaper entry & drinks. It's a cool place to visit every once in a while but not that often.
