  My friend and I went this pass Friday for a 007 royale themed night and had a great time! The venue is pretty and there was some good music. Our only problem with it was that due to the loud music there was a mistake when we ordered a bottle of wine and what we thought was only going to be a 50$ bottle of wine ended up being a 250$ bottle of wine and we didn’t find this out until we got the bill. Overall, was a great experience and was a pretty cool venue just very pricy so be careful!

  I checked out Laila Lounge in the West Bottoms (1717 W 9th St) and it’s seriously awesome! It’s got this cool mix of cultures with pink lights, murals of goddesses, and a big dance floor under a fancy chandelier—feels like a fancy getaway right in KC. They have great entertainment like DJs, belly dancers, and acrobats, plus fun themed nights for stuff like Greek myths or Latin dancing. The music’s a good blend of house, world beats, and popular songs that get everyone dancing. The drinks are themed around goddesses and taste amazing—like the Aphrodite with peach vodka and Prosecco, or the spicy Ishtar with tequila and habanero. Go well with bites like beef tartare or tuna sushi, and they have non-alcoholic options too. Service was really good, especially if you do VIP with bottle service. An upscale lounge that’s totally worth it for a fun night. Best spot in KC—5 stars! Can’t wait to go again.

  Ah where do I begin, the experience at Laila for opening Halloween of a 3day immerse experience was nothing short of incredible and inspiring. I’ve been living in New York, in the city and Brooklyn so I’d say I’ve been very spoiled with nightlife options- coming back to visit Kansas City and choosing where to spend my favorite holiday after years gone- I was so excited and happy to reunite with friends I haven’t seen in months at the ‘Mummy’s inferno’ themed night. The mural artwork that danced the entry, the thoughtful bathroom set ups, the kindness of the people in passing. As well as reasonably priced drinks that were mixed well and worth the value. I spoke with one of the owners and he was very friendly/warm towards my group. I feel grateful to of chosen this event to celebrate my first times back in Kansas City, and have decided to attend all 3 nights to keep the good times going and spirits high 💃🏽🍸🥂💽✨🪩 PS the music is amazing, and the variety of worldly genres played is so refreshing to see. Especially when mixed with highly talented performers and live instrumentation.

  Shout out to Nick for putting me on this place! I recently had a chance to visit Laila Lounge, and I have to say, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that makes you want to relax and stay awhile. The menu offers a nice variety of options, and I was impressed by the quality of the food. I tried their hummus and pita, which was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overly intrusive. One of the highlights for me was the live music. It created a great vibe that complemented the lounge perfectly. The music wasn't too loud, so we could still have conversations without straining to hear each other. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Laila Lounge if you’re looking for a laid-back spot to unwind with good food and pleasant company. I’m already looking forward to going back!

  Laila Lounge is hands down my favorite dance club! Every time I go, I’m amazed at how vibrant the atmosphere is. They host a variety of events, from themed nights to live DJ performances, so there’s always something new happening. I’ve been there on different nights, and each time has been full of energy and fun. What really caught my eye are their amazing cocktails—they’re not just tasty but also beautifully presented. You can tell the bartenders really know what they’re doing. Plus, the VIP bundles they offer are surprisingly affordable, making it easy to enjoy the night with friends without breaking the bank. If you love to dance and enjoy a good vibe, Laila Lounge is definitely the place to be. I can't recommend it enough!
