James Hill started with nothing and because of his genius and hard work built an empire. Worth seeing and especially at Christmas time when the home is decorated. We enjoyed the tour.

Its our 2nd visit ( we are from Washington) its a must see, a fascinating history of our country progress during the industrial revolution era. These old houses and their provenance must be saved! This visit Iam sporting a Leg boot for anyone e interested the house does have an elevator and chairs to rest on.
