- RLRyan LarsonDec 27, 20251.0The people who run this theatre are insane. They took over from Showplace Icon which is a higher end experience. They then made everything worse. Reclining chairs? Ripped out. Restaurant upstairs? Closed. Craft food and drinks? Removed. Switched from Coke to Pepsi. I heard a guy yell out “what theatre doesn’t have Coke??”. They put popcorn in cheap paper bags and make you put artificial butter on top on your own so it’s only on a few handfuls. Same with the drink cups. Cheap paper cups. I got their pizza and had one bite and threw it away. I used to come here for lunch and then a movie afterwards in higher end seats upstairs. There is now no reason to visit this theatre. In the age where theaters need to adapt to draw people who just want to stay home and stream movies, this theatre is a dinosaur who thinks they can go cheap to try and make more money. I went to a movie on the weekend and the theatre had a couple other people in it. I thought the booking site was glitched. I’m going to ask AI to set an alert for when this location closes so that I can host a party to celebrate punishing a corporation who is this out of touch. They played a video of the ceo playing the piano and singing before the movie. I haven’t hated a man more than when watching him think he was doing a good job. I award you no stars and may god have mercy on your soul.

The young man working concessions offered us a large cup to get water then proceeded to try to charge us $7 something without telling us ahead of time. Staff were friendly but theater needs cleaning and updates if they are going to charge the same amount as the nice theaters.
