- SOSavoeun OumDec 31, 20251.0Bought 5 of the $25 gift card during Christmas promo to get 5 of $5 bonus card to use after January, used 4 of them to purchase the tickets for the family and kids, after placing the order, got emailed stating booking failed. Called the customer service I was told nothing they help I have to wait for the refund will be back in the giftcard, I called and emailed couple requested to have gift card resent, when I received the 1 of the card only had value of 12.05 instead of $25. Contact Marcus Theater customer service and gift card customer service no response, not sure is this and error or a scam. Theater experience always good kids love it, but after this experience I don’t think I can enjoy the experience by knowing that I got scam.

The popcorn is always great (honestly the best), the theaters are comfortable, and the entire facility is consistently clean and well-maintained. It’s our go-to spot for movie nights, and the experience is always enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I just spent premium dollars to watch the new avatar movie for the first time, and the audio clearly wasn't dialed in correctly. With dull hollow sounding vocals and explosions and action that couldn't be felt in the bass at all. It ruined the experience.

Nothing in the main promotion made that clear, and it feels structured in a way where most people will never be able to use the value. When I reached out, customer service understood the issue but said they wouldn’t do anything to help. The theatre experience itself has always been good, but the way this promotion was set up — and the lack of care when I asked about it — was very disappointing. Because of how this was handled, I don’t plan to patronize Marcus going forward. If someone from management wants to discuss this, I’d be open to talking.
