The engineering and development of the Flour Tower was amazing. Check out Minnesota in 19 minutes while you're there and don't forget the scavenger hunt for a recipe card.
This is a fantastic museum experience! The tour and the exhibits are interactive and informative, making it a great place for kids and adults. We spent all day here and didn't quite see everything.

Went as a kid 15 years ago and its still the same! Got deja vu quite a few times and was able to understand much more now as an adult. Perfect for groups of all ages, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

The museum was an interesting overview of the wheat growing, harvesting, transporting, and processing history of the Midwest and Minneapolis. Pillsbury and Gold Medal Flour both produced here. The Gold Medal Mill closed in 1965, but also was victim to several intense fires before and after (building mostly burned down in 1991). Apparently flour dust is highly flammable. Very interesting museum 👍🏻 Great views too. The elevator history/introduction ride was super clever!
