As a MNHS site, this was a flop. We couldn't see the actual ruins of the mill or anything like that, but walked the very short path and read the signs. The magic of this location is the access to the Saint Croix river and waterfalls. You have to walk behind the shops (specifically by Nita Mae's Scoop ice cream shop), to get access to the river and to see all the beauty below.
