  Had not been to a movie theater in years, and this was honestly a great experience from start to finish. The reclining seats were extremely comfortable and made a huge difference compared to the old theater setup I remembered. Being able to fully recline and relax made the whole movie much more enjoyable. The popcorn was fresh and tasted great, and having it delivered directly to the seat was a nice touch that made the experience feel more modern and convenient. The overall movie quality was excellent, with clear picture and good sound throughout the showing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the ticket prices. They felt very reasonable for the quality of the experience, especially considering the seating, service, and overall comfort. The theater itself was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. This visit definitely reset my expectations for movie theaters, and I would not hesitate to come back again. A really solid experience all around.

  Hadn't been to a theater in a while I enjoyed it. I plan to make it a "thing to do" . And yes I'm bringing my comfy throw too!!

  Super nice seats The theater's are nice spacious and you don't have to deal with people kicking your seat. best movie theater I've been to 👍

  The low rating is based on the extremely expensive concession stand and misleading advertising. According to the employee who checked us out, the deals shown on the screen (large popcorn, two large drinks, and a snack/candy) are only “suggestions.” The screen does not explain which popcorn or sodas qualify for free refills—it turns out only the extra-large sizes do, which we were told after purchasing our food. The screen also implies that tenders, chips, or pretzels come with a condiment, but you still have to pay separately for the sides. Overall, the experience felt misleading and frustrating. We were highly unsatisfied. The advertising needs to be more upfront and transparent instead of making customers feel ripped off.

  I’ve been going to Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 and IMAX regularly for the past 3 years, and it’s easily my go-to theater. I visit at least once or twice a week, and sometimes even more. What I really like about this place is the variety of movies they show. I can watch anime movies, Indian movies, and big Hollywood releases all at the same theater. The sound quality is really good, which makes a big difference, especially for anime and Indian films where music and background score matter a lot. For big releases and re-releases, the IMAX experience here is excellent. Watching large-scale movies or Star Wars re-releases on that massive screen feels special every time. Another thing I enjoy is the movie merchandise they sometimes have on display. The themed cups, popcorn buckets, and collectibles actually look attractive and add to the whole movie-going vibe. It makes the experience feel more fun and memorable, especially during major releases. The theater is clean, well maintained, and organized even on busy days. With 20 screens, it’s easy to find a showtime that works. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality theater that I keep coming back to and would easily recommend to any movie lover.
