  Both my daughters have been dancing at Tami Gees since 2018 and we absolutely love it! Would recommend for all ages and all dance genres!

  We had a very disappointing experience at this dance studio, specifically with the hip hop class. My 7-year-old daughter was a new student, trying her best to fit in and make progress, but unfortunately, the teacher showed little to no attention or encouragement. The other kids were already in friend groups and didn’t include her, and the teacher did nothing to support or help her feel welcome. When I brought this up to the owner after we withdrew from the class, she told me the teacher is her close relative, is introverted, and a professional dancer—and that this is simply her teaching style. But being a great dancer doesn’t mean you know how to teach children. This teacher clearly lacked the ability or interest in connecting with young students. To make things worse, I was still held to the payment agreement even after withdrawal. There was no apology, no responsibility taken—just arguments trying to convince me I was wrong. It felt like all they really cared about was the money. I would not recommend this studio to any parent looking for a welcoming, supportive environment for their child.
