Great old theatre. However we were in the first row of the balcony (Dress Circle) Yikes… No leg room for us. I’m 6’ 0” and my date is 5’ 8”. Both of us were miserable during the first acts. Knees were in agony after the first 10 minutes. We left the theatre at intermission. (Nobody asked why) Note that we have been to the theatre in the past but had seats in the orchestra section. I don’t usually give low ratings but be aware of cramped seating!
Beautiful old eococco theater, it, at least where we were seated at the back of the Orchestra, were the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in. I am 5'8" and my knees hit the seat in front. Unfortunately it was a 2H45M show, so by the time intermission arrived I was very uncomfortable. So it loses a stat, almost 2 for that.
Beautiful Theater! Loved the show we saw (Music of Queen/ Berkley Orchestra). If you are taller than 6' plan your seating appropriately. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy in and out. Took an Uber from hotel for simplicity and it worked great!

Gorgeous Gilded Age theater. Wonferfully preserved with oranate wood trim with gold leaf, it transports you to another time. The seats were closer than exspected. The venue is on the smaller side for a large venue, but fewer seats means closer to the stage than you might expect. The seats have been upgraded over the years this means larger seats than originally installed, meaning legroom is difficult, but the show was was great. Wonderful place to see a show.

A beautiful venue. But Balcony seating with small seats and no leg room made for a very uncomfortable and even painful experience. (I am a man of average weight and height)
A huge distraction from the event I came to see. A pity. I suggest the theatre benefactors attend a performance relegated to the balcony. Perhaps a change will then be made.
