Very tight seats. No elevators and difficult to get upstairs via stairs if you need ADA accomodations. Old building with no sprinklers. God forbid there's ever a fire, the amount of time it takes to get out of that building, it's a death trap. This building is in need of a major safety remodel upgrade.

What a beautiful theater! The space is so intimate, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. I saw Suffs here and had an amazing time, and would love to return again soon.

Went on a trip with my daughter's high school band. The high schoolers were fine, but I barely fit in the seats.. I am 5'6 and my knees were crushed into the person in front of me. My husband had to go talk to an usher and get placed in handicap seating because he is 6'3 and would not way be able to stand a 2.5 hour show. So uncomfortable in the balcony seats!!!!

This is one of the most stunning theatres in Boston. The artwork is absolutely phenomenal and it is decorated so nicely. The reception room is wonderful. The mosaics on the floor are super fun as well. All the ceilings are beautifully decorated. The theatre room has great paintings and decor. I saw Suffs and loved the performance. All the ladies sang so beautifully. I would highly recommend coming here for a production. Also Lucille was a phenomenal usher and so friendly. I spoke with her for a while about the amazing architecture and history of this theatre. Props to Lucille for her enthusiasm! She also kindly took my photo!

Great old theatre. However we were in the first row of the balcony (Dress Circle) Yikes… No leg room for us. I’m 6’ 0” and my date is 5’ 8”. Both of us were miserable during the first acts. Knees were in agony after the first 10 minutes. We left the theatre at intermission. (Nobody asked why) Note that we have been to theaters like this in the past but had seats in the orchestra section. I don’t usually give low ratings but be aware of cramped seating! Perhaps an alert can be added to the website when purchasing seats like these.
