I don't know if it's just the (five) "Return to screen" Fathom events that I watched, and maybe their regular movies are more reasonable but those movies were so overwhelmingly loud that i had to wear earplugs the entire time. I've watched movies in the Apex, the AMC, and Cinemark at Preston but St. Matthews is significantly louder than all those other locations.

He then proceeded to discuss our situation with his supervisor and eventually told us that if we went in, we wouldn’t cause chaos, even though all we wanted to do was watch a movie. We had even arranged for someone to take us into the movie, but he decided to inform us after essentially wasting 15 minutes of our time for no reason. Mind you in that 15 minutes he let other people that looked underage in without checking their ids.
