Disappointed in the background choices and props. Wish we could have had a choice in our photographer. We did not like most of the poses that they had us do. Unfortunately, we did not purchase photos.

The check-in woman didn't even look at my daughter's face, or say hello, before telling her she needed to cover her shoulders because our "school requires it" but they don't. She made my daughter feel ashamed, even though she was just wearing what she wears to school every day (a modest high neck tank top with broad straps.) She gave her a horrible polyester "drape" to wear but then the guy in the back (not the actual photographer, apparently he was very nice) told her she wasn't "allowed" to wear the drape and acted like she was trying to get away with something. This was jarring for my daughter because she usually follows rules and tries to be nice to everyone. He was super snobby to her, and by the time she had to get her pictures taken it sounds like she was almost in tears. I saw the proofs today, and her smile is so strained. The lighting is also terrible. This didn't need to be a stressful experience - she just wanted to be included in the dang yearbook. How hard is it to just be decent and take a pic? 😐

Absurb sums up this racket.
This is the same place my high school used 30 years ago, and unfortunately not much has changed. It’s still overpriced, and the overall experience was underwhelming.
The staff were okay, though the photographer had more personality than the person checking us in. The photos themselves? Mediocre at best, with only one shot I’d actually consider good. Could I request a re-do? Probably, but given how asinine their prices are, I can’t purchase anything on principle.
The cheapest package is $149 plus $10 shipping, and all you get is 32 wallets, 4 5x7s, and 4 4x5s (7 sheets total). Who needs 32 wallets in 2025? It’s ridiculous. Anyone who’s ever printed photos knows a sheet of photo paper costs the same whether it’s one 8x10 or two 5x7s. If they offered 7 sheets, mix and match sizes, one pose for $149- I’d consider it. Or even a fair option like $21 per sheet, any size, any pose with a minimum of say 5 sheets. But no, they want $53 for a single sheet of two 5x7s. Sure you can pay 199 for the digital of 1 pose but i pretty sure they do not send you the file. Rather they send you a link to buy photos from shutterfly.
Absurd.
There are so many independent photographers and portrait studios who deliver better quality, more options, and actual value for the money. I wasn’t impressed 30 years ago, and I’m definitely not impressed now. Some things never change.
Technically, no one forces you to buy, but if there’s one image you actually like (and especially if grandparents want a copy), it feels like they’ve trapped you. You've already invest time and effort into getting dressed and done up then driven to another town because that is the ONLY way to get your picuture into the yearbook your senior year. That’s where it crosses from “expensive” into feeling like a scammy monopoly.

Terrible customer service - placed an order for my daughter's senior portraits back in April and still have not received. Called once in May and was told due to Covid they were behind after waiting to talk to someone for 45 minutes then in Early June spent 57 minutes on h old for them to tell me oops there was a problem with the order that we didn't notify you of. Begged for them to please rush the product since they acknowledged they messed up and I still have nothing. Of course you can't shop with anyone else since they own the proofs from the college. Ridiculous. Poor service and zero results.
