Ehhh... The venue is great if you want to rent it for a party or a show. As far as the improv, no. Wasn't worth the price of the ticket, super expensive drinks and you must buy 2 items per person per table. A double titos with lemonade was $35. If you want to sit together half of your party has to be there or you can't. Can't move your chairs at all. Super super strict on everything, to a fault I'd say. Staff constantly watching you too make sure no one is taking pictures/ vid during the show etc, but very annoying while trying to watch the show if your on an aisle seat and always many of them waking around. The servers are not friendly, our party had 3 in total and it was a trend even though we didn't sit together and were throughout the space. There are way better ones then this that cost way less but I thought I'd give it a try, but lesson learned. Unless you are renting it out, but idk what their price on that would be and if its anything like the menu it will be super expensive

The drink selection was not particularly impressive and, as is often the case at comedy clubs, somewhat overpriced. Seating is fairly tight, and guests may be placed at shared tables, which can feel uncomfortable. We also had to stand outside in a line for one hour before the show started. They really need to do better with that. That said, the desserts were excellent, the venue itself is spacious, and our server provided outstanding service. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we look forward to returning.

I've had fun nights here, but not last night for the Aries Spears show. We sat far side stage and couldn't hear anything but muffled sounds. None of us are hard of hearing. There were no other areas for us to move seats, due to being sold out. Also charging $31 + tip for soda water and ginger ale is a gross rip off! I'm not in a hurry to return.

Venue is hard to find. Don't trust Google. Go to Texas de Brazil. It's adjacent. It's underground and very spacious. The sound quality is very clear and bright. We went to see Steve Byrne. He was interactive, roasted the crowd and even had crowd participation at the end of the night.

Let me remind you that I go to The Improv for the comedy shows and not the food. Now with that being said, the food is not bad, it's cool for what it is. They have a two item order rule, so I'll pick whatever I have a taste for at that time plus a drink. I haven't had any issues with any food that I've ordered thus far. I will say that they changed their souvenir glasses and I ended up leaving mine a couple of visits back, but no big deal. Now the service, the service has always been great. I've never had the same server when I'm there, which means that they hire great serving staff. Every server that I've ever had has served with a smile and is very polite and prompt. I think the only thing I would change is that, outside of the drinks, they would wait until my entire order is ready before bringing out my food vs bringing me item by item. That's just a preference and not a complaint, especially since I also realize and understand that some people may prefer it that way. While this location has the capacity to hold quite a few people, it is still small enough as to where it still gives a comfy-cozy setting. I love that they always give me a preference as to where I want to sit. Now, I don't know if they do this for everyone or if it's because I'm by myself when I go, they give me the option. Either way, I love, love, love that.
