When I got there, the manager, Dawson, let me know that the information I’d been given was actually incorrect. What really stood out to me was how he handled it. Instead of being dismissive or just saying “sorry, there’s nothing I can do,” Dawson went above and beyond to help me. His attitude, patience, and willingness to find a solution were absolutely incredible. He treated me with respect, took my situation seriously, and made sure I didn’t walk away frustrated or disappointed. In a time when good customer service is rare, Dawson’s was unreal. Slick City is lucky to have him in North Aurora, and because of his amazing service, I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others.

Not once did anyone introduce themselves so I had no idea who my hosts were - one host who must’ve been assigned to our party asked my husband if he should bring out the pizzas and he did and that was it. My husband, myself and one of my guests had to serve the pizza and drinks and also had to serve the cupcakes and also do an announcement for the guests to make their way back to the table. I had to ask for gloves to serve the food too. No one was rude and the GM was accommodating after I explained what was going on. Overall- my daughter and her friends had a fun time… but the customer service with the hosts was lacking for the party- when they should’ve been helping with serving food/drinks/refills etc.

For a weekday birthday party (my daughter instead it be on her actual birthday) it wasn’t crowded. But there was enough kids and fun to go around. The place was clean and well maintained. Lots of massage chairs well placed. The rides are for adults also, the adults in my party did a good number of the rides. We really enjoyed our party. The staff were amazing and attentive to details. I forgot the candle and the cake cutter all which they provided. They re did my table plates and napkins to match my Barbie theme. The food was good. The pizza that comes with the package is big. And fed all 10 kids comfortably. We did order additional food from the menu. The hot dogs are thick, the fries were perfect, chicken tenders were good too. They’ve also got a great selection of slushie flavors. The kiddie area and ball sections are also great spaces for kids who don’t want to do rides.

About halfway through the party the power went out and we were all in the dark! It wasn’t Slick City’s fault, the entire shopping complex across the street went down. The staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed my daughter to open gifts near an open exterior door so she had enough light to see. That bought us enough time while we waited to see if the power came back on. It wasn’t ideal but these things happen. I’m most impressed with the corporate office and Jessica, the manager, who followed up with me after the party and offered a few options to make things right as we didn’t have the full party experience. We’ve had parties at several indoor gym type venues and Slick City is hands down the BEST service experience.
