Amazing theater however sadly the recliner seats in theater 8 (can't speak for others yet) where a bit narrow with a bigger person. Very friendly staff and clean.

We love this theatre, however, I don't like paying the new "convenience" fee for reserving seats unless you are a member, which you have to pay for. You already raised the prices on tickets which is fine but that fee takes the cake. Reservations actually help your chain! We will check out other venues!

If I could give zero stars I would. First time here drove 40 mins to see the Housemaid (Rated R). 3 adults and an infant. The lady said she couldn't let us in because we have a baby. There's no children allowed under 6. So you're telling me you would allow a 7 year old to watch a rated R movie? She said it's because the baby would disrupt the movie... and a 7 year old wouldnt?? We called a different theater and they said they didn't care if we brought the infant as long as we have an adult 21 or older with us. Which we are all over 21. And mind you we can sit close to the exit and walk out if we needed..

I am a Rewards Member at Marcus Theater in Bloomington IL and went Tuesday to see a movie and instead of paying $6.25 as a rewards member I had to pay over $12.00 (because it's during the holidays) and was told they weren't giving reward members the free small pop corn so I paid $17.38 for a small popcorn and drink. And you wonder why people stay at home and wait for movies to come to streaming channels!

I have had so many weird experiences with this theater... I kinda wish they kept the seasonings that wehrenberg used to do. But they decided as a business decision to make an extra $5. I'm actually not mad it's a business decision... The seats are comfy... Except for the random taped up chair that sticks to your coat. Yes this review sounds somewhat negative... I actually like the theater, the screenings are great... Movies have better color and sound effects than the other 2 theaters in town. Though I recommend not to pay cash... They are already rounding change off and the pennies haven't stopped production yet. (Yes to me 1 penny matters). Popcorn is pretty good and the theaters are generally clean. Plus, they do Indian cinema correct. AMC will power through the 3.5 hour movies that India sometimes produces... I love that they actually use the intermission. Indian cinema still occasionally uses the old style intermission. It is a refreshing recourse to be able to move around and get your refill. If you have never watched Indian cinema, I recommend them, they are very entertaining to watch and the dialogue/subtitles is pretty good and the actors occasionally add English in the middle of their sentences. The theater is in a good location. All the negatives aside, I do recommend the theater. Especially when the seats, the screens and sound are what you pay for. The price you pay, albeit more expensive (I mean $18.49 for a small popcorn and large drink is kinda ridiculous) than the other 2 theaters (except on Tuesdays when domestic movies are $6) is well worth the money when you want great relaxing seats.
