This Observatory is located on BYU-I campus. Google maps will guide you into the parking lot adjacent to the football stadium. During observatory hours the parking is free. Otherwise during school hours it requires a campus parking permit. You'll walk towards the science building and take the elevators to floor 2. Note that you'll start off on the basement floor if arriving from the stadium parking. Once you get on floor 2, walk around to the other side of the building and you'll see signs pointing you towards the Observatory. The stairs are narrow and steep into the observatory so watch your step! Before you go check their Facebook page as they will post if they are open. Clear skies are needed to see those amazing stars or even the moon. After I arrived I met three amazing women (Megan, Meseret, & Tatum) who were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Astronomy. Two of them were getting ready to graduate and were passing their knowledge down the line to help ensure future students would have access and knowledge of the Observatory. This place is amazing and would recommend anyone in the area to visit and see different stars and even the moon! This place is free to the public... Come visit!!

Really cool place. Kinda hard to find for first timers, so if you get lost inside the building, feel free to ask, and they will show you around. The people here are really nice and willing to answer your questions. Don't be afraid to go here even if you're not in a class that requires you to go here. It's a cool place.
