The paper is produced by people who, judging by their product, have pride in their work and respect and serve readers well. It's a first read for me every morning and it is so good to deal with people who work and live in Iowa and not in some corporate outpost hundreds of miles away.The daily letters are always there, the sports coverage refreshing, the editorial comment well founded, the statewide coverage informative and, Hey!, the comics are in color.
